The Screw Cap IG from Micronic can be used to seal externally threaded tubes in 96-well format ranging from 0.30ml to 2.00ml in size. It has improved gripping for both manual and automated handling and an optimized cap height of 5.8mm to make storage in automated stores more efficient. The Screw Cap IG comes in a variety of 12 different colors.
The Screw Cap IG for tubes with external thread is designed to be compatible with the Micronic Screw Cap Recappers and other automated systems. The improved sealing performance of the Screw Cap IG leads to the reduction of sample los and an enhanced sample integrity. The working range of the Screw Cap IG is between vapor phase LN2 and +100°C, making it possible to use this cap for both short term and long term sample storage in extreme temperatures.
