The unique Micronic 96-5 Rack can hold 96 individual 2.00ml tubes with internal thread or external thread. The Micronic 96-5 Rack is based on the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (ANSI/SLAS) standards for storage racks. It features a laser-etched 1D rack barcode on the side (standard), laser-etched alphanumeric coding on the top, and a ‘twist-lock’ design to prevent tubes from turning during screw cap (de)capping. The racks are precisely manufactured in a certified class 7 clean room with quality materials at the highest purity levels.

The Micronic 96-5 rack is made from polycarbonate, which has excellent properties for ultra-low temperature storage (down to vapor phase LN2).
The Micronic 96-5 rack is free from any detectable RNase or DNase contamination.
The Micronic 96-5 rack is compatible with the leading sample storage automation systems (-20°C, -80°C and lower temperatures).
