The Micronic 96-4 Rack can hold 96 individual 1.40ml tubes with internal or external thread. Based on the globally recognized ANSI/SLAS standards for storage racks, the 96-4 rack features a laser-etched 1D rack barcode on the side (standard), a laser-etched 2D Data-Matrix code on the bottom of the rack (optional), and a ‘twist-lock’ design to prevent tubes from turning during screw cap (de)capping. The open bottom design of the storage racks facilitate quick defrosting of samples.
Product features
The Micronic 96-4 rack is made standard available with a laser-etched 1D rack barcode on the side and a unique laser-etched alphanumeric coding on top. The 2D Data-Matrix code on the bottom of the rack is optional for the 96-1, 96-Q1, 96-2, 96-3 and 96-4 rack.
The Micronic 96-4 rack is made from polycarbonate, which has excellent properties for ultra-low temperature storage (down to vapor phase LN2).
The Micronic 96-4 rack is free from any detectable RNase or DNase contamination.
The Micronic 96-4 rack is compatible with the leading sample storage automation systems (-20°C, -80°C and lower temperatures).
