For preserving sample quality and streamlining sample processing.
The CXT 353 Frozen Sample Aliquotter is a semi-automated bench-top instrument that can aliquot a wide range of frozen samples like tissue, feces, serum, plasma, whole blood, urine, and other biofluids. The CXT 353 can extract multiple frozen aliquots from a single sample, thus increasing utilization of rare samples for critical studies. During the aliquotting process, both the parent sample and frozen aliquots are maintained below -80°C via LN2 chilling, effectively eliminating the freeze-thaw cycle and maintaining the integrity of samples.
The CXT 353 has a laser targeting system that can help users precisely select which part of a sample they’d like to core.
The CXT 353 has a chilled deck (<-80°C to -150°C) that maintains the cold chain at all times, eliminating the freeze-thaw cycle.
With the CXT 353, researchers make use of single-use, nuclease-free coring probes to prevent sample carryover and cross-contamination.
The CXT 353 can be used to acquire up to five frozen aliquots from a single 2.00ml vial (<60 seconds per aliquot).
