FAQ: Laser Markers

What kind of tubes are compatible with the Lambda576?

Tubes must have at least one opaque wall to be compatible with the Lambda576. If tubes are completely transparent, the laser beam will go straight through the tube without laser-etching. The Micronic hybrid tubes are compatible, for example, because they have a blank white wall on one side that’s ideal for laser-etching. The FluidX jacket tubes are also compatible because they have black side walls. Not sure if your labware is compatible? We’d be happy to perform tests in-house. Contact us today.

Please note: the time needed to manually pick and place tubes into the adapter is not included in this approximation.
